Notice of new tax regulations:
Due to changes in federal and state tax regulations, we are now required to collect and remit sales tax on transactions occurring in the state where items are being shipped to.
As a customer, we can avoid collection of taxes on your orders if you provide us with your resale / tax exemption certificate for all states where you are tax exempt. Once we have received your certificate, we will update your account so that any orders placed on our website exempt from your current state sales tax.
Please note that tax exemption status is currently marked at the account level, and is not associated with a company. This means that tax exemption will be linked to the email you are using to login and place orders. Please make sure you have an account set-up, remember to log in before adding items to your cart and that exemption is associated with this email only.
If you see sales tax on your order, please contact us as we want to make sure your email account is flagged with tax exemption prior to placing an order.
You can have taxes credited back for orders that haven’t entered the shipping process yet. Once an order has entered our shipping process, we will no longer be able to refund taxes.
Tax refund requests would need to be filed with the state where the order shipped to.
If you need to check the status of exemption for your account, please reference this help article.
Thank you and we look forward to serving you soon.
Why am I being charged tax now?
Tax laws for online sales are changing due to the recent Supreme Court Decision. We collect and remit sales tax based on state and local requirements. We are making every reasonable effort to comply with the law, whenever it applies.
If your order is shipped to (or picked up in) one of the following areas, it is subject to sales tax. Therefore, if you have a blanket tax exempt form, or have tax exempt forms for each state, please submit them so we can remove tax and mark your account as tax exempt for states you are shipping to.
